Foxtail Lily (Eremurus stenophyllus)
This is a plant of amazing beauty. Its brilliant yellow or orange-gold flowers have long and thin filaments ending in delicate bright orange anthers that create a kind of halo around the petals. The inflorescence is a very dense, cylindrical raceme up to 70 cm long, consisting of almost 700 flowers, wide open, up to 2 cm in diameter. Blooms in June-July. Valued for the abundance, brightness and aroma of flowers. Long stored in the cut, suitable for dry bouquets. One of the most decorative species of the genus.
